Serving the local community the centre of Radcliffe offers local shopping with plenty of free parking and a great range of shops and services. This busy town boasts the important medieval Radcliffe Tower, which is currently the focus of a Heritage Lottery project, and the Church of St Mary's, both listed buildings and a short walk from the centre. Nearby parks and countryside include Close Park and the Outwood Trail, both featuring works from the Irwell Sculpture Trail.Leisure facilities include Radcliffe Leisure Centre,, Library and Radcliffe Civic Suite, which hosts a regular programme of events and activities.
