
More than just a walk in the park, Heaton Park is a historic area on the edge of Manchester with all the attractions offering a full day out for all ages. Visit the play areas, cafes, Animal Centre, Tram Museum, bowling greens, golf course, boating lake, and try your hand at horse riding.
Take advantage of a packed events programme that takes place each year including outdoor concerts, dramas and plays. Also don't miss Heaton Hall's beautifully restored interiors to get a taste of the 18th century, with a collection of furniture, musical instruments and occasional recitals in the Music Room.
Activities include guided walks, orienteering, rowing boats, tram rides and beekeeping.

Heaton Park Parking
Car parking charges are as follows: first hour - £1, 1-3 hours - £2 and 3 hours or more - £3.
Charges apply 10am-5pm every day. Additional parking charges may apply when events are taking place.
Blue Badge holders can park for free in any available space throughout the car parks, as long as the badge is correctly used.

Heaton Park Farm and Animal Centre
The centre is free to enter and open all year round except Christmas Day. From April to September it is open 10.30am to 6pm and from October to March it is open 10.30am to 3pm.
The animals in the centre include chickens, goats, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits and more exotic species such as alpacas.
