Over one evening in a north England pub the cast of two actors portray the lives and foibles of the staff and customers.

Jim Cartwright is a multi-award winning, international playwright, screenwriter and director. His work is in almost continuous production around the world and has been translated into over 35 languages. His plays have been performed at The National Theatre, The Royal Court Theatre, The West End of London and on Broadway and in many other theatres around the world. As a director he has worked at The Royal Court Theatre, The Ambassadors Theatre in the West End, The Royal Exchange Theatre and more recently directed the number one nationwide tour of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. Television credits are equally as long. His plays have been in constant publication since 1986 and are on school, college, and university curriculums.

Director - Andrew Close
Andrew needs little introduction to Manchester Theatre audiences, both as an actor and director. He has directed at Bolton Little Theatre, Farnworth Little Theatre, Altrincham Garrick and frequently on our stage. Garrick highlights have been' A Damsel in Distress', 'The Winslow Boy (Actor)', 'Dick Barton' and 'The 39 Steps'. In addition, his expertise in play selection is invaluable to the society
