Army Brides: Dresses Through the Decades is a fascinating exhibition showcasing wedding dresses dating from the First World War to the present day, showcasing styles and trends through the last century.
This fascinating look at the iconic wedding dress will include the free-flowing layered dress worn by Kathleen Sutcliffe on her wedding day to Captain Jack Sutcliffe in 1915 and the handmade silk wedding dress of Pat Calvert, worn in 1959 with an orange blossom tiara when she married Fred, an Officer in the Northumberland Fusiliers.
Come along to see these beautiful dresses that span 100 years and explore the fascinating stories of the woman behind them.
