altered showcases a major solo exhibition and catalogue by British sculptor and disability rights activist, Tony Heaton OBE.
The exhibition explores Tony Heaton’s sculptural practice from his early work including his activism and initiation of the National Disability Arts Collection and Archive to more recent work including direct stone carving, establishing his position in the wider art historical context.
Opening event: Saturday 5 March, 2-4pm
Join us for a drink to celebrate the opening of the exhibition from 14.00 on Saturday 5 March. There will be a talk from the artist about the works displayed, and exhibition catalogues will also be launching and on sale in Bury Art Shop.
