During Covid-19 The Met is one of the host venues for "United We Stream". Every night watch live bands, DJs, singers, performers and cultural leaders entertain, educate and enrich lives. Live everyday from 7pm onwards, with a donations page, where you can watch for free. Just buy a 'virtual ticket' for whatever price you want, to enjoy the channel.
During Covid-19 The Met's resident artist, Professor Jigget is hosting live Bedtime Tales and fascinating Folklore, Myths and Legends events.
During Covid-19 Bury Youth Theatre are sharing their latest performances and storytelling online and are taking part in a UK wide time capsule project with other youth theatres. You can follow Bury Youth Theatre on Facebook.
The Met is a stunning, award-winning live music venue that is noted nationally for its specialist folk music programme. Having undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment, it incorporates two modernised performance spaces, popular dining restaurant Automatic, and Edwin Street Creative Hub which includes a Recording Studio. The Met is also the proud organiser and promoter of 'Head for the Hills' festival, welcoming around 12,000 music lovers to Ramsbottom every year.
The Met is also available for hire, whether your're looking for an intimate gig space, a professional meeting room, or a modern bar for a big celebration.
