Serving the local community the centre of Radcliffe offers local shopping with plenty of free parking and a great range of shops and services. Just a five minute walk from Radcliffe Metrolink station, the town mixes supermarket shopping (adjacent to the centre) with independent shops and businesses focused around the town's Piazza. Furniture, homeware, pharmacy, opticians, florists, gifts, jewellry and great value food outlets can all be found. The recently redeveloped Radcliffe Indoor Market, located in the heart of the town, is open on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and half day Thursdays, providing great value shopping and friendly service.

This busy town boasts the important medieval Radcliffe Tower, which is currently the focus of a Heritage Lottery project, and the Church of St Mary's, both listed buildings and a short walk from the centre. Nearby parks and countryside include Close Park and the Outwood Trail, both featuring works from the Irwell Sculpture Trail.
Leisure facilities include Radcliffe Leisure Centre,, Library and Radcliffe Civic Suite, which hosts a regular programme of events and activities. Radcliffe is also a 3 times winner of the ' In Bloom' competition which ensures that the town offers accessible community facilities all within a quality envrionment.
