Are you an experienced road rider, a competent mountain biker or an occasional cyclist looking for a pleasant trundle?
For the road rider, the southern loop of the signed Lancashire Cycleway (Regional Route 91) passes through Holcombe Brook.
For mountain bikers, Bury has its own trail at Philips Park in Prestwich. Outside the Borough but not far away are Mary Townley Loop of the Pennine Bridleway and Lee Quarry, not forgetting the other Philips Park just down the road in Clayton Vale, part of the National Cycle Centre.in Manchester.
